WHY THE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT SUCKS

I know I've ranted about this before, but it still fries my ass:  Why does highway work start at 8:00 on a weeknight, and why is it always several lanes and several miles and several interconnecting highways ... all at the same frigging time?

Coming home from Newton tonight takes an extra half-hour because 128 and 93 both have 50% of the lanes shut down for at least five miles each ... with NO construction vehicles in sight.

Why?  WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY?! 

You're holding up traffic, you stupid fuckers.  If you're not working on that stretch of highway at that hour, or even within several miles of that stretch of highway, do ... not ... shut ... it ... down.

Did you get that, Mass Highway Department?  You are all stupid fuckers.  STUPID ... FUCKERS ... STUPIDFUCKERS.

Some of us are still trying to commute at 8:00 p.m.  Stop being fuckheads and leave the highway open.  Is there any particular reason why you cannot start your make-believe construction project after 11:00 p.m.?  Is there any particular reason why you have to shut down hours and miles worth of the major roadways during the evening semi-commute (the 6:00-9:00 crowd)?

Motherfucker.  Assholes.  Dumbfucks.

Thanks for making the trip home from my son's birthday party 50% longer than it needed to be, taking life and limb in hand while screeching to halts and fighting idiots weaving around the cones and back into traffic.

I hate you, Massachusetts Highway Department.  You suck.
