I realize that yesterday's post was #1776, and today's post is #1777.
How appropriate for Independence Day.
So, in honor of July Fourth, I am posting some pictures from a recent trip to Peak's Island.
You'll see the gun fort in the water from WWII.
When they shot the guns off for the first time, it shattered windows to the opposite side of the island.
Thank god for Patriots and the few bold individuals who inspired a nation.
Now, if we could just do that ONE MORE TIME and remember that we don't owe ANYONE a goddamned thing.
Get off your own fat ass and get to work.
Taxes should be 5% local and 10% federal.
Government should be small and should not step foot on our property.
(After all, we pay for everything, even their travel and meals.)
No other country should be getting a dime from us for free.
And always remember, don't fire until you can see the whites of their eyes, or until they're in your sights, whichever happens first.
